Is your love life frustrating you because you can't get a guy to fall in love with you? Have you tried a dozen tactics and nothing works? Is he a really special guy and you think you'd be really happy with him for the rest of your life? Here's what you can do.

Analyze your attraction to him. Many women simply fall for a face. They see an oh so cute guy, then he does something that is oh so cute and before you know it, she thinks she's in love. We tend to transpose on cute guys the qualities we want them to have and often refuse to see the qualities, or lack thereof, he actually has.

Before you let your heart go all aflutter, get to know him. Be casual and friendly and avoid getting all starry eyed with unfounded adoration. This can be a major turn off for most guys. Talk to him as you would a friend and be interested in what he has to say. You might also want to really take in what he's saying. Guys will sometimes confess their likes and dislikes and girls simply ignore what doesn't suit them and cling onto the few things that fit into their scheme of things.

As you get to know him, make sure the time you spend with him is enjoyable. Don't start getting on his back because he didn't have time to see you the week before and don't criticize him for having a life outside of you. You're just starting out, so give him a chance to slowly build up his emotions.

Be a fun sport and be willing to go out with him and try new things. He might be the kind of guy who loves the races and wants to share the experience with you. He'll appreciate that you went along with him, however you don't want to pretend you actually liked it if you didn't. Without complaining, and definitely without putting him down for enjoying that kind of thing, let him know it's not quite your cup of tea.

He'll appreciate your honesty and the fact that you're not phony.

When he tells you something he's proud of, don't feel you've been challenged and you need to mention something equally impressive. Be impressed with who he is and show him the admiration you have for him. Sure you can be proud of yourself, and he'll want to be proud of you as well, just avoid turning this into a competition. You might end up proving yourself better than he is, but you'll lose the guy in the process.

If he's having a good time with you and feels comfortable just being around you, no matter what you guys do, his emotions will grow. He'll fall in love with you.
